All right. I don't know how much interest there is in this, but it seems I have quite a few people watching me so I may as well take advantage of it.
I'm trying to wade tentatively into the waters of professional illustration. As such, I'm accepting commissions. Yes, yes. Me and half the sixteen-year-olds on Deviantart, I know, I know. But there's one aspect in which I hope to stand out with my commissions: I will work for cheap.
Let's say...$1 for a piece of lineart, $3 for digital coloring, $5 for analog coloring. You'll be mailed the original if it's traditional art, (I'm going to have to ask you to cover shipping, though, or I'll probably lose money on this fast.) and emailed a high-quality file if it's digital. If you ask, I won't post it in my gallery but I may show a shrunk-down version in my portfolio.
Why am I selling myself for so little? Because I could use the practice, and the ability to say I've done for-pay commissioned illustrations without crossing my fingers behind my back. I would, naturally, be *thrilled* to work on a larger-scale project---a comic book, a children's book, a website, etc---but I'd also be happy to just draw a single image for your own personal pleasure.
I'm perfectly comfortable drawing nudity, violence, sex, drugs and rock and roll, but I've also got a twee side and would be happy to draw fluffy little kittens playing with toddlers. Whatever makes you smile inside.
Obviously you can see the kind of artwork I do by thumbing through my gallery, but I've also collected a nice selection of images into an illustration portfolio that can be found here:

So? I like to draw. Want me to draw something for you?
((P.S. I'd LOVE to do comic art, but I don't recommend asking me to do anything 'manga style.' I'll try it if you insist, but be prepared for your characters to look like mannequins with Down Syndrome.))

Seriously you have to make a choice: Either be a shut in now and great later. Or have a social life now and complain about gas prices for the rest of your life...
